The Painting of Life through Light

Barcelona Set No. 2, Spain

In this second set of photos in Barcelona, I visited mainly the works of Antoni Gaudi. First visit was to the Sagrada Família, a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). I took a lift up the nativity side, and it offered a very nice view of the city, even Torre Agbar, which I planned to visit in the evening the same day. Also visited Park Guell,  a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of El Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914. In the night, I dropped by Torre Agbar, a special tower having a phallic character, as described by its designer, Jean Nouvel, a French architect. – HL
